Together we Smile Layout February SOE Watercolor Wishes Kit for ***Scraps of Elegance***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today it's my birthday and I would like to share a 12 by 12 layout using the amazing wonderful February "Watercolor Wishes" kit at Scraps of Elegance. This is a gorgeous kit with all pretty 49 and Market goodies in it but also some pretty metal pieces and other stunning embellishments this is just a must have kit.

Together we Smile:
The picture I used is of my precious cousin her daughters Nadene and Hanna and I really love this picture of them {it's so sweet}. I really got inspired to use this picture because of the lovely haute couture stamp set by Gabrielle Pollacco that was also in this kit.

I also used some sticker words that I had in my stash but you can also print words or text on a pieces of patterned paper and just print it out that works fine for me on most layouts. The chipboard piece I used here is treated with rust paste by Finnabair and it was cut in two.

Those glass stones that are in this kit are just the bomb wow I really enjoyed using them on this particular layout. The pretty metal bird you see at the bottom picture is by Prima Marketing and is so adorable. I used the pretty stencil in the kit on different parts of my layout and also I added a bunch of Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays on this piece.

This main kit is still available at the Scraps of Darkness/Elegance Store so it you would like it please be quick because it's amazing. Just take a good look at all these yummy products below.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and have a wonderful week...

Timeless Photograph 8x8 Layout for ***Cheery Lynn Designs*** + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang's March Challenge

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today I'd like to show you how I used my precious "Cheery Lynn Designs"dies.
This time I made a 8x8 layout again {it's been ages since I did one for Cheery Lynn Designs} using a old picture of my mother in law, she is in her seventies now and on the picture she was just four years old such a cutie pie...
I ordered some foam from England last week because I saw some lovely flowers made out of them on YouTube...and I have to say I LOVE that stuff I am hooked now lol

Timeless Photograph:
I cut out the flower dies times four then I used my heat gun to curl my flowers. This layout came out so easily. For the flower centers I used some steamen and a diamond gem on top of that. These papers I used are from such a thick quality that it's really easy to distress it.

In some of the dies I left the cut out bits and pieces because I really think shabby chic is all about that The word stickers are inked with white ink and I added a treat underneath the picture. In my flower clusters I added some cheesecloth.

I really adore how much depth the flowers have with the foam & dies I used wow. I am totally going to make more flowers with my Cheery Lynn Designs flower dies on my next projects so keep a close eye on this amazing blog.
