Spring Flower Card for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Cuts2luv!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Don't you just love the new Denim & Friends collection by Maja Design? It totally rocks for me because of it's versatility...you can go masculine but also very feminine so for today I did the last one. I went for a girly spring card with a bunch of flowers, chipboard pieces and some shimmery embellishments. I took out the teal colors form the Denim & Friends collection to match my flowers which are by Petaloo & 49 and Market.

Spring Flower:
The chipboard pieces are treated with gesso, spray, paint and metallique wax. I took out a clear sheet and a script stencil by The Dusty Attic and added paste on the clear sheet then I lifted the outer border a little with foam tape. The text is a clear stamp by Joy and I also added a piece of ribbon and a flair {which I totally love to use btw}

The sequins are by "Dress My Craft" and are called play with green {but I think they look really teal tho}....this was a super fun card to make and I think I will make more of them. On the outer line paper I did some stitch like stripes to finish my card and at the end I added some sprays.

Maja Design papers used:
Denim & Friends: Streetwear bs, Jeans & T-shirt bs and Summer shirt bs. Monochromes Shade of Denim: Mono Denim – Aqua.

Other products used:
Dusty Attic Chipboard, Petaloo Flowers, 49 and Market Flowers, Stencil, Paste, Spray by Lindy's, Ribbon, Cheese Cloth, Cuts2luv Flair, Sequins, Ink and Stamp.

With this card I will be entering this months challenge at "Cuts2luv" this time I went for the pretty oranges in the moodboard and the embellishments "Stars" they are on my flair. Hope you like it...
Thank you for you visit today and I would like to wish you a wonderful & sunny weekend...

Every Photo tells a Story Layout + Video Tutorial for ***49 and Market***!

Hello again my friends,
Today I am back with another layout that I made for 49 and Market, this time with the softer shades in the new "Cottage Life" collection plus I made a video tutorial for you my third ever so be gently with me I have a lot to learn about making those. The picture I used is one of my mom back when she was about the age of 19 and she got married to my dad. I really love this picture of my mom {she doesn't} that I tend to use it more then just one time. The chipboard pieces are by The Dusty Attic and are treated with several mediums that I will show you in the video...I also did some fussy cutting that you will not see on my video.

Every Photo tells a Story:
I am so much in love with these new papers that I wished I'd live on a farm and not to mention the new flower ranges they are just devine. On the background I did some stamping and added some paste with a stencil by Gabrielle from the Crafters Workshop. I also added some Cuts2luv flairs...on which I am hooked everytime I walk into my scraproom I feel like I am in scrappers heaven surrounded by all those beautiful products that I get to design with every time <3 enjoy watching my video!
I hope you like my video sorry for the lightning but I started at daytime and I finished my layout at night.

I was planning on using some doily dies but that became to much on my work because I wanted to keep this layout simple to make. And I wanted to highlight the flowers and the papers....because you don't have do much to make a great layout when you use 49 and Market products.

Don't you just love the new blue flowers? I really do...I always have problems to find the good color blue for my work. In the past I made my own flowers if I had that problem but this new color is amazing and really fits with almost every blue shade which is awesome.

Fresh Air Layout for ***49 and Market*** & *** The Dusty Attic***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Don't you just love creating with your Dusty Attic chippies & 49 and Market products? Well me I am totally hooked it feels like I am in chipboard/flower heaven every time I create with these amazing chippies and flowers and it is so easy to make a great layout. For this layout I used only three sheets, one from "Vintage Artistry" and two sheets from the stunning new "Cottage Life" collection. This time I went for the red color in this collection since I already used the green/blue and pink colors several times. The Dusty Attic designed some new chippies that totally fits this new collection and what is great about that too, that they have them in black yeahhh. My favorite colors of the flowers by 49 and Market are the Aloe, Mojito and the white ones too, I always seem to take those out of my flower basket.

Fresh Air:
I really enjoy all the elements on the cut out sheet has but also the layered embellishments are a delight and so easy to just peel it off and add to your work. The background sheet was treated with clear gesso before I added all my embellishments, paste, stamps, ink and ink sprays. I pricked holes in the outer lines of my paper and just went over it with a bonefolder then I added some timber brown stazon ink with a blending tool.

Then I took out my white ink and some of the text stamps by 49 and Market and stamped around the edges it took adges to dry tho so that was not great because on some placed it smeared. After that I used a Dusty Attic stencil with the text and added paste to my layout. The next thing I always do is to take out my chipbaord pieces that I like to use on a particular layout and treat them with white gesso before I treat them with any other medium.

The other mediums I treated my chipboard pieces with this time are rust paste by finnabair and also the waxes in the colors Fire Ruby & Bronze Age. But the easy part are the word strips and word tab on my work they did not have to be treated at all and you can just add them to your work. In the new flower pack there are such gorgeous leaves that I had to use them on my work. I am a real sucker for the vines that 49 and Market offers here I used the white one.
